2024 ACEC Nebraska Engineering Excellence Awards

OMAHA, NE –  Every year, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Nebraska (ACEC NE) celebrates projects exhibiting the best of the best – the most innovative engineering projects produced by firms in Nebraska. IP Design Group is proud to announce that our firm’s project nomination has been selected by the 2024 ACEC NE Engineering Excellence Awards Committee to receive their prestigious Honor Award and Category Winner Award. Our design work on the First National Tower renovation was declared a Category Winner in the Building Systems and Technology section.

IP Design Group delivered a design that provided robust audiovisual technology capabilities on select floors and also led the effort to bring management, technical staff, and departmental users together to create a consolidated user interface for meeting and collaborative spaces across the entire FNBO enterprise. In doing so, IP Design Group effectively created a common user experience across the company, regardless of space or location. The project was also able to adhere to an ambitious construction timeline and worked through the economic slowdowns of COVID-19. The engineering excellence award will be formally celebrated at the 2024 ACEC NE Awards Gala hosted on April 25^th at A View West Shores in Waterloo, Nebraska.
