PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Lincoln-based Union Bank & Trust was seeking to expand its profile in the Omaha area with a 5-story office building located on the corner of 144th and West Dodge Road. The team at IP Design Group partnered with architect Clark & Enersen and provided structured cabling, video surveillance rough-ins, access control rough-ins, and audiovisual rough-ins for the office building’s core and shell as well as the tenant improvement projects for the building’s three clients.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Designed horizontal cabling through raised-access flooring from telecommunications rooms to work area outlets, such as network (voice and data) wall outlets, wireless access points (WAPs), and IP-based video surveillance cameras.
• Designed audiovisual rough-ins and pathways for conference, meeting, and community rooms, collaboration spaces, training rooms, boardrooms, huddle rooms, executive offices, and the café.
• Coordinated diverse entrances for service providers.
• Provided electronic security rough-ins for bank vault alarm systems and waiting room/office video surveillance.
• Provided secure and continuous pathways between floors for client backbone cabling within telecommunications riser rooms.
• Coordinated discrete and functional placement of cable trays in high-visibility spaces.
