Langston University Tulsa Campus Allied Health Complex
The Allied Health Complex houses Langston University’s School of Nursing and Health Professions on their Tulsa campus, which offers career-advancing completion programs for associate degree registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. The facility includes simulation labs with manikins powered by artificial intelligence, spacious classrooms, a lecture hall, conference and meeting rooms, and department and administrative office spaces.
- Voice and data horizontal cabling was installed to work area outlets in the building, including wireless access points and IP-based equipment, such as video surveillance cameras and campus emergency alerting equipment.
- Telecommunications rooms were designed for the space, including equipment for termination and mounting of the Owner’s network electronics.
- Audiovisual systems equipment and supporting infrastructure systems were included in classrooms, teaching labs, simulation labs, conference/training rooms, collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, and debrief rooms.
- Access control systems and video surveillance were provided for the addition and existing building to be compatible with the existing university systems.
