Welcome Dalton Rabe and Sam Underwood
IP Design Group is excited to welcome two new members, Dalton Rabe and Sam Underwood, to our team.
Dalton will support our technical staff as a Telecommunications Designer. He recently received his Master of Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and has used his education and project experience to design innovative technology systems for a variety of market sectors including aviation, corporate, higher education, and K-12 projects. These projects have allowed Dalton to work with notable local clients, including Metropolitan Community College, Omaha Airport Authority, and Des Moines Public Schools. Dalton was also part of the 2020 AEI Student Design Competition. His team was awarded the 2020 Top Award for Outstanding Achievement in Innovation – Building Envelope, 1st place in Integration, 1st place in Mechanical, and 2nd place in Structural.
Sam will support our Acoustical Consulting staff as an Acoustical Designer. He accumulated a vast knowledge of the acoustical design science and has worked on a portfolio of higher education, government, faith-based, and corporate project types. These projects can be found throughout the country from well-known cities such as Houston, Chicago, and New York City to our local communities in Lincoln and Council Bluffs.
Sam is a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), ASHRAE, and the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE). He is a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he received his Master of Architectural Engineering. In 2019, Sam was awarded the Leo Beranek Medal for Excellence in Noise Control. He was recognized by the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction’s staff and his peers as the 2020 Outstanding MAE Student.
