Noah has always been fascinated by computers and automation. Since he was a kid, he has wondered how technology can be leveraged to help make people’s lives better. He credits an internship to finding that answer in security system design.
A well-designed security system utilizes multiple, specialized sub-systems to help protect people and property 24/7 and Noah always strives to produce the highest quality work possible. To him, this means leaders must not only apply lessons learned, but also look forward to where the industry is headed. Change is a constant in the technology sector, so it’s very important to plan for the future and stay agile. By combining experience, good communication, and adaptability with state-of-the-art technology, he designs systems which will exceed the expectations of the client.
Noah is happy to see technology design transforming more from 2D drafting to 3D modeling. The advantages of this transfer are perhaps most obvious when designing CCTV systems. Previously, with 2D drafting, a client would need to imagine a camera’s field of view. Now, the cameras view can be adjusted to be exactly what the client wants though the power of 3D modeling in Revit. Noah is continuing to enhance his Revit skills and is always looking for add-ons and other tools to help with the design process.
“I’m proud of the work done by the systems I design and I always strive to produce the highest quality work possible. To me, this means leaders must not only apply lessons learned, but also look forward to where the industry is headed.”
