At first, Cameron was looking to become an electrical engineer, graduating from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln with his bachelor’s in that field. However, as he learned more about technology systems design, he thought it sounded like fun. His interest in telecommunications and audiovisual systems led him to get certifications as a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) and Certified Technology Specialist—Design (CTS-D).

Cameron is on an endless quest for more knowledge and finding more creative solutions to the complex problems he faces daily. Many of his team members appreciate Cameron’s commitment to finding answers and look to him, not only as an expert in technology design, but as a leader. This is the case for one of Cameron’s most impactful projects, the University of Nebraska—Lincoln’s College of Engineering. Once a student of the program, he now has the opportunity to design technology systems to help the next generation of engineers be even more innovative in their future careers.

An active advocate for technology design, Cameron communicates the importance and benefits of having a robust technology design within a building. He hopes the future of technology will continue to become even more seamlessly integrated into daily life, improving efficiency, sustainability, and collaboration.
