PROJECT DESCRIPTION
NorthStar Foundation primarily serves boys from families living in poverty. The program focuses on five core fields: academics, athletics, arts, outdoor and experiential learning, and employment readiness. To assist in meeting their goals, this after-school center for boys features a 14,000-square-foot gym, a climbing wall, a technology classroom, as well as spaces for study and offices. The facility is distinct from other athletic centers in its focus on education.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Access control is provided at the four primary exterior door locations.
• IP-based surveillance cameras powered over Ethernet were provided in multiple locations.
• All outlets, pathways, cable jacks, and horizontal cabling were provided for data communications.
