University of Nebraska-Lincoln University Health Clinic/UNMC College of Nursing

This new 100,500-square-foot building will be located on UNL’s East Campus and will provide program spaces for an ambulatory clinic building and the College of Nursing. It will replace the college’s current location in downtown Lincoln, where qualified applicants were turned away due to space limitations and insufficient faculty.

Think Whole Person Healthcare

The Think Whole Person Healthcare facility includes a prominent entry with a six-story atrium. The first floor is comprised of retail, pharmacy, and urgent care services. Floors two through five are a mix of primary care physicians, dentists and minor outpatient procedure rooms. The sixth floor houses physician offices and meeting rooms.

Beatrice Community Hospital

IP Design Group provided technology and telecommunications systems design for this new critical access hospital, the largest rural hospital in southeast Nebraska.A special area of focus was integrating the patient beds with the nurse call system.  This allows the nursing staff to weigh patients while they remain in bed, thus reducing risk of patient injury.

Absentee Shawnee Tribe Health Center

IP Design Group was contracted to provide communications systems design for this single-story 72,000 sq. ft. clinic. The project is scheduled for completion in 2010 with an estimated construction cost of $18 million.Systems to be commissioned include nurse call, overhead paging, wireless, LAN, voice data, CATV, security, digital signage, AV systems, and IT equipment.
