Their products have saved tens of thousands of lives, have won numerous awards and have been endorsed by the Center for Disease control and the World Health Organization.
The School of Nursing is a top-ranked, world-recognized program committed to improving the health and well-being of patients and communities through education, research and service. The 75,000-square-foot facility accommodates instructional spaces, a conference center, lecture halls that convert easily to small group learning, health assessment, task training, clinical skills, and faculty offices.
IP Design Group is providing technology consulting and design services for this new facility which will provide opportunities for inter-professional learning experience for students preparing for careers in rural primary care, new models for acute and critical care and community-based care.
This new 100,500-square-foot building will be located on UNL’s East Campus and will provide program spaces for an ambulatory clinic building and the College of Nursing. It will replace the college’s current location in downtown Lincoln, where qualified applicants were turned away due to space limitations and insufficient faculty.
The Think Whole Person Healthcare facility includes a prominent entry with a six-story atrium. The first floor is comprised of retail, pharmacy, and urgent care services. Floors two through five are a mix of primary care physicians, dentists and minor outpatient procedure rooms. The sixth floor houses physician offices and meeting rooms.
